VOLUNTEER GUARDIAN AD LITEM (GAL) TRAINING
Kids’ Voice of Indiana Volunteer Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Training will lay the foundation of knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill your role as a volunteer GAL with Kids’ Voice.
This training consists of two parts:
- 5 hours of self-paced e-learning that introduces you to critically important topics like child development and best interest advocacy.
- 7 hours of in-person classroom instruction to discuss the ins and outs of being a GAL volunteer with Kids’ Voice of Indiana.
You must complete all 5 hours of the e-learning prior to attending the in person portion of the course.
Attorneys will receive at least 7 hours of CLE (additional 5 hours pending approval).
Upon registration for this course, a member of our team will contact you about submitting a volunteer application, completing a background check, and setting up your e-learning account.
