Become a Volunteer Advocate

Volunteer advocates play a crucial role in elevating a child’s voice during a pivotal moment in their life. Interested in making a difference? Complete our interest form, and we’ll connect with you soon. You can also explore our two distinct volunteer advocate roles below to find the one that best fits your passion and skills.

• Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers: CASA volunteers advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Kids’ Voice is the CASA program for Marion County and our volunteers are a critical part of the program’s effectiveness. CASA volunteers receive extensive training from Kids’ Voice staff and are supported and advised by staff once assigned to a case. Learn more about our CASA volunteer opportunities.
• Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Volunteers: GAL volunteers advocate for children involved in paternity, divorce, guardianship, and adoption cases. They receive specialized training from Kids’ Voice staff and ongoing support from a Kids’ Voice staff attorney throughout their cases. Having a legal background is not required to become a GAL volunteer. Learn more about our GAL volunteer opportunities.

Make a Donation

Your support helps Kids’ Voice provide essential services to abused and neglected children in our community. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference and is deeply appreciated.

• Financial Gift: Your contributions fund our vital programs and directly impact the lives of children – Make a financial gift.
• In-Kind Gifts: Donations of gas cards and gift cards for general stores (like Target, Walmart, Meijer, etc.) and fast food are also greatly appreciated. Please email development@kidsvoicein.org to let us know how you’d like to contribute.
• Matching Gift: Your employer may match your financial gift or provide a grant based on your volunteering with Kids’ Voice! See if your employer will match your gift or volunteering.

Attend an Event

Kids’ Voice hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including our annual Go Blue for Kids Gala and Monday Night Madness. These events are opportunities to support our mission, connect with others, and have a great time!
